Bob Bonczyk was an inspiring and loved mentor of Team 107. He spent 30 years teaching and mentoring students to be the next generation of STEAM success stories. As a Woodie Flowers Finalist Award winning mentor, he instilled in the students the need to not only be competitive, but to bring Gracious Professionalism into everything thing they do. This scholarship has been establish in the memory of Bob by his family and friends to honor his love of engineering and dedication to FIRST. Bob was a Tool and Die Marker that specialized in engineering prototypes for automobile interiors. He passed away February 25th, 2024 at the age of 64 after complications due to a heart attack.
